8/23/23 – First-time home buyers hit highest level since 2010.
Not since the Great Recession have the number of first-time home buyers reached 50% of the market purchasing homes with about 75% of those buyers between the ages of 29-43 and 27% of those buyers between the ages of 18-28. In 2022 the number of first-time home buyers was 45% and in 2021 the number was 37%.
